Show NotesI don’t claim to know everything about theatre marketing, but if I could pull together the collective wisdom of all the very smart people I come into contact with – I might get pretty close. So alongside answering your questions, I talk to guests who have some insights into theatre marketing that I want to share.

This is an excellent podcast. Clay is a thoughtful host who delves deeply into the subject of theatre arts marketing and shares his insights and experience in this field. Listening to this podcast has helped open my mind to new and creative ways to spread the word about my own production. Thank you, Clay!

I discovered Clay Mabbitt’s show back in January when the task of marketing a black-box theatre series was placed in my responsibility. After listening to the interviews, taking advantage of the marketing calendars, and reading all of the articles and keeping up to date with the new posts I feel equipped to tackle the challenges that come with promoting a show. Over the course of the last few months we have gone from sparsely attended houses to having full houses. We even had to extend the last show another week because fo the high demand. Clay Mabbitt helped us find the audience we didn’t know was out there. 5/5 stars, I recommend this for anybody who ever wants an audience to come to their show.
